Water Seals A neoprene seal fastened to the door creates a seal when the door is in the closed position. The seal is butted in the corners. This seal will greatly reduce the passage of dust and will reduce the flow of water, but will not eliminate it. Molded Neoprene This seal is corner molded and fastened to the door. The seal is created when the door is in the closed position. This seal will virtually eliminate the passage of dust and will greatly reduce the flow of water, but will not eliminate it. Pneumatic Inflated This seal is fastened to the door and is automatically inflated with nitrogen when the door is closed. Nitrogen is used to maintain the integrity of the seal. The use of oxygen is discouraged, as it will cause corrosion and deteriorate the seal over time. This sealing system will eliminate the passage of dust and resist a 12" head of water for 48 hours. |
